President Tokayev said that not a single problem in the world can be solved without Russia
According to the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the March presidential elections in Russia will have enormous international significance, since Russia plays a key role in solving world problems.
Tokayev noted that Russia is a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a leader that shapes the global agenda. He emphasized that without Russia’s participation, not a single world problem can be solved. This year, elections will be held not only in Russia, but also in other countries, including the USA, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, India and the European Parliament.
The March elections in Russia are of particular interest to Kazakhstan due to the close ties between the two countries. Voting will last three days – from March 15 to 17, 2024. This will be the first three-day presidential election in the Russian Federation.
