To surrender Primorye without a fight // The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is considering a boycott of the gubernatorial elections due to problems with the formation of commissions
[ad_1]
The seaside regional organization of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation may refuse to nominate a candidate for the post of governor of the region in the upcoming elections in September. Communists are outraged that their representatives are not en masse included in the formed precinct election commissions (PECs). They see this as a desire of the Primorye authorities to exclude “undesirable controllers” over the course of the vote count. The regional electoral committee says that there are no final decisions on the composition of the commissions yet, and no complaints have been received from the communists yet. The federal leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation believes that it is still necessary for the party to take part in the Primorye elections.
