Tinkoff Investments suspends trading in foreign securities and client trading on the stock exchange in euros. The decisions were made against the backdrop of EU sanctions imposed on February 25, under which, among other things, hit Tinkoff Bank.
“In order to avoid the risk of blocking, as well as to take all necessary actions for the transfer, we are temporarily suspending trading in foreign securities. Within one to three weeks, we plan to launch trading,”— informs “Tinkoff Investments” in the Telegram channel. Yesterday Tinkoff Investments announced transfer of assets to another company.
Trading in the euro will be suspended from February 27, this currency is excluded from the list of liquid instruments. At the same time, withdrawals in euros will be available, Tinkoff Investments noted.
In the Tinkoff group, commenting on the sanctions, earlier reportedthat they will not affect the service of more than 26 million customers.
