The dating app Tinder stopped working in Russia on the night of June 30, Kommersant was convinced. Earlier, the company-owner announced the suspension of the application in the country from June 30.
Users from Russia can still log into their Tinder account, but cannot swipe other people’s profiles. The application throws an error and asks you to try again later.
Tinder also cannot be downloaded from Google’s Play Market, Apple’s AppStore. It is not available for users from Russia.
In May, Tinder owner Match Group reported, which will stop working in Russia by June 30. Also by this date, paid subscriptions in the application in Russia will no longer be automatically renewed. In addition to Tinder, the Match Group also owns Match.com, Meetic, OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, Ship, and OurTime.
