Times of Israel: Israeli Energy Minister suggests executing Hamas members

American newspaper Times of Israel reported that Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz compared Hamas militants to Nazis in his speech.
Among other things, he proposed to try members of the movement as Nazis, by court martial.
“I believe that the actions that Hamas militants committed were no less cruel than the actions of the Nazis. We are talking about torture, rape and cutting off limbs,” Katz emphasized.
According to the newspaper, Katz advocates the creation of a court that would operate in accordance with Israeli law to prosecute Nazis. Thus, he wants to achieve “fair punishment for terrorists.”
“If this law is passed, it will allow Israeli representatives to execute those they are currently detaining,” Katz added.
