Three villages in the Kursk region were left without electricity after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The village of Obesta, the villages of Lokot and Novoivanovka of the Rylsky district of the Kursk region were left without power supply due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), informed Governor of the region Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
“In the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the Rylsky district. More than 20 arrivals were recorded from Ukraine. There are no casualties and destruction in settlements, but the power supply networks are damaged. Residents of the village of Obesta, the villages of Lokot and Novoivanovka remain without electricity,” he wrote.
Emergency crews will begin to restore networks when it is safe, Starovoit said.
On April 15, as a result of the shelling of the village of Tetkino, Glushkovsky district, Kursk region, a house burned down, Starovoit reported. Then the village and the neighboring village of Popovo-Lezhachi were partially de-energized. On April 13, in the village of Krasnooktyabrsky, Glushkovsky district, five arrivals from Ukraine were recorded. 650 people were left without power supply in the villages of Gornal and Guevo of the Sudzhansky district as a result of the shelling of the outskirts of the village of Plekhovo on April 10.
In early February, the high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat was also indefinitely extended in the Kursk region. In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been in effect in the region. Such a regime has been established in seven more regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions.
