Three Ukrainian military leaders put on the wanted list due to the shelling of Donbass

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put three Ukrainian military leaders on the wanted list, who are accused of shelling the Donbass. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the departmental database of the wanted.
In July 2023, the Investigative Committee charged in absentia the former commander of the operational-tactical group “Vostok” Igor Palahniuk, the former first deputy commander of the joint forces operation – the head of the joint operational headquarters in the JFO zone Andriy Kovalchuk and the former commander of the air assault forces of Ukraine Yevgeny Moysyuk.
At various times in 2016, 2017 and 2019, they commanded units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that shelled settlements in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. As a result of these crimes, more than 100 people, including minors, were killed and injured. About 300 civilian and critical infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
The cards of Ukrainian military leaders in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicate that they are “wanted under the article of the Criminal Code.”
