The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, dismissed three officials after criticism of them from State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. Deputy Chairman of the regional government Pavel Migachev, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Anna Smirnova, and Head of the Housing State Inspectorate Vladimir Tomashentsev lost their posts.
Mr. Busargin signed the corresponding orders yesterday, December 28. On this day, Mr. Volodin visited his constituency in the Saratov region. He stated that despite the availability of financial resources in the construction sector of the region, “there is no systematic organization of work, design is completely overwhelmed.” In particular, when visiting the Solnechny-2 microdistrict, residents complained to him about overcrowding in schools. A similar problem arose in the Zelenaya Gorka microdistrict, says the State Duma speaker.
Vyacheslav Volodin noted that “Green Hill” is “Migachev’s hand-made project.” According to the politician, “the chief architect of the region must be held accountable for negligence and improper performance of duties.” “And take it and put things in order. Once he said about “Green Hill”, twice he said… What are we doing? “Everyone is silent again,” complained Vyacheslav Volodin (quoted from RIA Novosti).
He also criticized the head of the housing state inspectorate. “Roman Viktorovich, the faster you drive him, the better. Otherwise, you will get problems with him, just like with Migachev and the chief architect. We need to get rid of ballast this year and not take it next year,” the speaker of the State Duma called on the governor of the Saratov region.
