During the shelling of the village of Volfino in the Glushkovsky district, three people were injured, one of the shells hit a residential building, said the governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit.
According to him, 10 arrivals in the village were recorded from Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, three civilians were injured, they are being taken to the central district hospital with shrapnel wounds of moderate severity,” wrote Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
If necessary, the victims are transported to the regional hospital, he added. The head of the region also promised to help in the restoration of housing.
The Kursk region is regularly shelled by Ukraine. So, on August 8, on the territory of the Gornalsky St. Nicholas Monastery in the Sudzhansky district, a child received slight shrapnel wounds to the forearm and hand after the fall of the kamikaze drone.
In the Kursk region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium level of response” has been set in the regions.
