After the FSB searches, pilot Sytnik accused the Federal Air Transport Agency of treason

Honored Pilot of Russia Yuri Sytnik commented on the actions of Rosaviation employees who sold aircraft abroad using forged documents. The pilot said that under the pressure of sanctions this is tantamount to betrayal, writes NEWS.ru.

The department’s actions, according to the publication’s interlocutor, caused damage to domestic aviation, which suffers from “cut-off” aircraft maintenance and the inability to purchase new Boeing and Airbus.

The pilot expressed hope that the FSB will identify and bring to justice those responsible.

“It would be nice if they sold it openly, they did everything quietly, using forged documents [самолеты] flew there supposedly for work and did not return to Russia. This is not just a sale, this is a betrayal,” Sytnik said.

Earlier it became known that the Federal Security Service conducted searches in the Federal Air Transport Agency as part of a criminal case regarding the illegal withdrawal of 59 aircraft from Russian jurisdiction.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that the Kremlin does not comment on reports of FSB searches in Rosaviatsia.
