“They drove me to mincemeat”: a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter criticized the new commanders

The fighter described a situation where the commander simply “points his finger at a point on the tablet” and gives the order: “Sit here.” At the same time, Sharovarov notes, no one answers the questions “What is there? Is there a shelter? Was someone there?” The Ukrainian serviceman explained that for a soldier these questions “make the difference between life and death.”

The soldier complained that the commanders did not care what happened to the soldiers. They do not visit the positions to which they send subordinates, and control the process only from drones. “Their war is very similar to a computer strategy,” writes Evgeniy, noting that the realities on the ground are a big mystery for officers.

The Ukrainian military suggests that this is why such officers drove three American Abrams tanks close to Russian positions, where they were burned. At the same time, he notes that if the destruction of tanks still causes a public outcry, then the death of two dozen soldiers who were sent to occupy a house does not bother anyone.

He added that those officers who were there before refused to carry out orders related to the senseless death of personnel. And when “the command drove people to mincemeat,” these officers had the courage to say that they would not send their people.

But those officers died, they were replaced by new ones who do not go to positions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman summed up.
