Medvedev warned of criminal liability for arson and vandalism at polling stations

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that “scoundrels who commit crimes at or near polling stations (arson, vandalism, etc.)” will be brought to justice. Moreover, according to the politician, it is by no means under Article 141 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which talks about obstructing the exercise of voting rights or the work of election commissions.

Medvedev believes that “they are traitors,” therefore, their actions can be qualified under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which deals with high treason in the form of providing assistance to a foreign state during a war.

This is not a child’s game of matches or an innocent prank with greenery, the ex-president of Russia pointed out. This, in his opinion, is direct assistance to the degenerates who are shelling Russian cities. Criminal activists at polling stations must realize that their actions could result in 20 years of special treatment, Medvedev concluded his post on the Telegram channel with a warning.
