Theatrical collars, voluminous sleeves, straight-cut coats and scarlet monochrome on the catwalks of London

At the end of February, the Fall-Winter 2023-2024 Fashion Week was held in London, outlining the next trends for the next cold season, after New York Fashion Week. Crop tops, gloves, floral patterns and feathers are complemented by accented collars and a straight cut, sheer fabrics with lace, voluminous sleeves and red.
Volumetric sleeves have been holding the bar for several years, but for the cold season such sleeves, to put it mildly, are uncomfortable. Either outerwear must be fully consistent. Although in the collection, Erdem has a certain option, in which puffy sleeves are still combined with outerwear.
Transparent fabrics and laces for the next year, although reminiscent of the “lingerie style” of the 2000s, are, in fact, only part of the multi-layered looks that are popular today.
Coats for the next cold season, the designers of the London week offered mostly straight cut. Usually such a silhouette is chosen for a multi-layer outfit, as it is universal.
Accentuated large collars are a new trend, although not really. But now designers are offering it for both men and women, and some have even created it as a standalone accessory with glittery beads.
