Sullivan said that the United States will not interfere in the situation with Zaluzhny
The White House does not plan to interfere in the decision of the Ukrainian authorities regarding the possible dismissal of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. This was stated by Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan in an interview with CBS.
“We have made it clear that we are not going to interfere with this particular decision,” he said.
Sullivan noted that this position has already been transferred to the Ukrainian authorities. The US Presidential Assistant emphasized that personnel decisions are the exclusively sovereign right of Ukraine, in which Washington does not intend to interfere.
Sullivan refrained from commenting on the possible impact of Zaluzhny’s dismissal on the situation at the front.
