The White House did not make the expected announcement about ATACMS for Ukraine

The American administration currently has no announcements regarding the possibility of supplying ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles to Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, March 12, by Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan.

The official was asked to say whether these missiles would be included in Washington’s new $300 million military aid package to Kyiv, which Sullivan spoke about. However, he neither confirmed nor denied this assumption.

The head of the State Department press service, Matthew Miller, in turn, promised that “we will be able to say more about this in the near future,” and then clarified that this will happen today.

Earlier, the Politico newspaper wrote that representatives of the Kyiv regime are counting on US President Joe Biden to make clear promises to support Ukraine in his address to Congress – for example, guaranteeing the provision of long-range ATACMS, which Ukrainians been asking for two years.
