The White House again asked Congress for help to Ukraine

The American administration is asking Congress to allocate major new financial assistance to Kyiv, pointing to the “seriousness of the situation” in Ukraine. John Kirby, Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, announced this on Friday, October 13.
The official said that to this end, the Council is holding briefings with key leaders of the United States Parliament in the hope of convincing lawmakers to make a positive decision on the allocation of funds for Ukraine.
As Kirby noted, given the current circumstances, it is important to consider context.
Earlier, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, due to the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and the radical group Hamas, is making attempts to completely not to lose support from the West.
Military Watch Magazine noted that redirecting aid to Israel would allow the Western bloc to save face, reduce its investment in the conflict and force Kyiv to return to the negotiating table.
