Times: EU and Britain consider further aid to Ukraine if Trump wins
Britain and other Western countries have begun working on a plan to ensure they can support Ukraine without help from the United States if Donald Trump becomes US president. This was reported by The Times, citing a senior official in the British government.
It is noted that ministers are making attempts to increase their own production capacity across the continent in order to continue sending weapons and ammunition to Kyiv for at least another year, regardless of whether Washington continues to help Ukraine.
In addition, UK intelligence is confident that Kyiv will not be able to win in 2024 due to a lack of manpower and weapons to conduct offensive operations.
