The website of the Belarusian state agency Belta resumed work after a cyber attack
The website of the Belarusian state news agency Belta was attacked by hackers on Sunday, December 31.
In the middle of the day, the site stopped publishing updates; a crossed out image of the agency’s logo and a picture of Santa Claus with a red and white flag appeared on the main page. Later the site stopped opening completely.
The Cyber Partisans group, recognized in Belarus as an extremist and terrorist group, took responsibility for the attack.
By evening the site resumed operation.
