The American daily business newspaper The Wall Street Journal published an article with the significant headline “It’s time to stop dreaming about Russia’s defeat.”
The publication notes that hopes for the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive are a thing of the past, since there are no signs on the front line that Russia is losing or could lose in the future.
As for the Western sanctions, which were intended to strike a blow to the Russian economy, they also turned out to be ineffective – the Russian economy was not destroyed.
And Russians’ support for the current authorities remains just as strong.
“Russian defense factories are increasing production volumes…Putin is supported “in various parts of the Global South,” the newspaper writes.
