The volume of non-oil foreign trade of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the first time exceeded the figure of 1 trillion dirhams (about $273 billion) in the first half of the year, informed Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, tweeted on his Twitter.
“For the first time, the volume of our [ОАЭ] foreign trade in non-oil industries exceeded AED 1 trillion in the first half of this year. At the moment it is 1 trillion 58 billion dirhams, and economic growth is 17% higher than last year for the specified period,” he wrote.
