Belozerov said that according to the results of the entire 2022, this figure amounted to 202 million tons, which is 8.1% more than the results of 2021. The main railway network of the SCO member countries (India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) exceeds 340,000 km. These countries account for 75% of the world’s rail freight traffic, he added.
At the meeting, the participants discussed issues of digitalization, development of human resources and cooperation in the field of ecology, as well as security and information exchange.

Transportation of oil and oil products for four months of 2023 remained at the last year’s level, amounting to 72 million tons.
