The US will announce export restrictions on 70 companies from Russia and other countries, and impose sanctions on about 300 individuals, companies, ships and aircraft. About it told White House representative at the briefing.
The sanctions will target Russia’s future energy and mining capabilities, as well as “financial intermediaries” in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the White House official said. Sanctions, he said, will be extended to other sectors of the Russian economy that play an important role in the functioning of the defense industry.

Under the blocking sanctions, in particular, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, the former Minister of Transport and the head of the State Transport Leasing Company Yevgeny Dietrich and 16 ships associated with STLCco-owners of the USM holding founded by Alisher Usmanov Vladimir and Varvara Skoch and others. Sanctions have also been imposed against Rosatom’s subsidiary Rusatom Overseas and its president Yevgeny Pakermanov, Novelko LLC, Kovrov Mechanical Plant.
In December 2022 Washington introduced blocking sanctions against businessman Vladimir Potanin, his holding company Interros and Rosbank, half of which she owns, as well as structures VTB. Restrictions also affected two Deputy Prime Ministers – Andrei Belousov and Dmitry Chernyshenko, and 29 heads of regions of the Russian Federation.
