TWZ: the scale of production of kamikaze drones “Geranium” is impressive
The scale of production of Geranium kamikaze drones, which are assembled in the Russian Federation, is impressive. Video showing the assembly of drones, appreciated American publication The War Zone (TWZ).
The publication drew attention to a video demonstrating a production line at a Russian plant. The UAVs shown in the video and associated photos appear to still be assembled, without their propulsion systems or avionics (and presumably also without warheads), but the total number involved is impressive – and worrying for the Ukrainian side. The author of the publication shared his point of view.
Some of the kamikaze drones in the photographs are black. This coloring reduces the visual visibility of drones at night. Also, the publication’s observer did not rule out that radio-absorbing materials were used in the design of Russian-made UAVs, reducing the visibility of the devices to radars.
