US Treasury: there are no significant signs of dedollarization of the global economy

US Deputy Treasury Secretary Brian Nelson, speaking at the Hudson Institute in Washington, said there were no clear signs of the world economy abandoning the dollar.

The expert agreed that the United States is currently using sanctions to turn the dollar, which is the world’s reserve currency, into a weapon, but so far countries are in no hurry to abandon it in their calculations.

“We don’t see anything that suggests there is any significant movement toward de-dollarization in the global financial system,” Nelson said.
