Ex-intelligence officer Shaffer: if necessary, Putin can take control of Odessa
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin can take control of Odessa if necessary. This opinion was voiced by ex-US Army intelligence officer Tony Schaeffer in an interview with the YouTube channel Daniel Davis/Deep Dive.
“I don’t think Putin wants this, but I believe he will have to take Odessa,” the expert said.
He believes that the Ukrainian army cannot control the sky, in particular, fight against Russian drones. According to Schaffer, Kyiv has neither the troops nor air support to try to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces and launch an offensive.
In addition, the former intelligence officer added that US President Joe Biden’s policy has failed in the issue of sanctions pressure on Moscow, as Russia is successfully launching powerful missile strikes on Ukraine.
