The US Senate blocked bringing a bill to help Kyiv to a vote, The Hill reports.
It is clarified that Republican leaders in the Senate, on the eve of a key procedural vote, called on their fellow party members to block a bill to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of more than $61 billion, because the package does not include immigration and asylum reforms.
As a result, the document on the allocation of assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan did not pass the procedural vote.
