Russian Ministry of Defense: The United States is forming a mental theater of military operations with new weapons
Advisor to the Russian Minister of Defense Andrei Ilnitsky, in an article for the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, stated that at the moment, military specialists of the United States of America and the North Atlantic Alliance are forming a mental theater of military operations with fundamentally new types of weapons.
He clarified that today the content and nature of military operations are changing completely. Defeating and capturing the enemy’s mental sphere becomes more important than capturing his territories.
“The mental sphere is becoming the most important operational domain and area of NATO operations,” Ilnitsky noted.
According to him, now NATO and US military personnel are faced with the task of transitioning from information to cognitive-mental dominance.
