The US House of Representatives adjourned until February 28 without voting on the aid bill for Ukraine and Israel. According to Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson, congressmen currently have other priorities, including completing work on the American budget.
Earlier, the US Senate passed a bill on additional funding for national security in the amount of $95 billion, including the allocation of $60 billion to help Ukraine. At the same time, controversial issues about funding border security measures and immigration reform within the United States were excluded from this bill.
Mike Johnson noted that the chamber would not be able to be forced to adopt a project to help Kyiv.
