The head of the Oversight Committee of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, James Comer, in an interview with the Newsmax television channel, said that a vote on impeachment of current US President Joe Biden could take place as early as the middle of this month.
According to him, most likely, a vote in the House of Representatives will take place in September, but everything depends on Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
“We have already talked with him several times. I believe that the Republicans have enough votes to initiate an investigation,” Comer said.
He clarified that the possible investigation could make a significant contribution to obtaining data from the Internal Revenue Service and the National Archives.
