The Ural candidate for deputies, who called the townspeople a filth, refused to participate in the elections

Yegor Aleksandrin, a self-nominated candidate for the Duma of Asbest (Sverdlovsk region), who called the volunteers filth, refused to participate in the elections. Last week, a video of the conflict appeared on social networks, during which a young man called the volunteers of the local car club dirt, and their cars buckets. The fact that Yegor Aleksandrin is withdrawing his candidacy was stated by his father, the current United Russia deputy Dmitry Aleksandrin.

“On the Internet, a cropped video is circulating, where my son is unattractively exposed. Indeed, probably, within the framework of campaigning, no matter what provocations are committed, a candidate for deputies should be restrained, and the words that Yegor said should not have been said for sure. Based on the situation that has developed now, including in social networks, I propose that the political council make organizational decisions regarding Yegor’s participation in the elections. I think that we will stop this business now, and for now, as I understand it, Yegor does not need to participate in this campaign. And we both decided to withdraw his candidacy from this constituency, despite the fact that he is a self-nominated candidate,” said Dmitry Aleksandrin (a video with his words is posted on Telegram channel agency Ura.ru). The deputy himself now takes the post of deputy secretary of the Asbest local branch of United Russia, but because of the conflict, he decided to leave the place.

The representative of the Sverdlovsk regional branch of the party Maxim Bestfater confirmed Kommersant-Uralthat the deputy wrote a letter of resignation. He also noted that the post of Deputy Secretary may be free, as it is not mandatory.

Recall, last year, Dmitry Aleksandrin was removed from his post as secretary of the Asbestos local branch due to allegations of battery. The conflict happened with the deputy from the Communist Party Natalya Krylova. Later “United Russia” restored him in office.

Yegor Aleksandrin also apologized for his words. The day before them from a self-nominated candidate demanded the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, secretary of the regional branch of United Russia Yevgeny Kuyvashev, he also stated that he was waiting for his father’s reaction to what had happened. “I think he has nothing to do in the thought. Young people who talk to someone like this deserve only a slap on the back of the head. It seems that he does not understand at all why he is going to become a deputy and that he should actually protect the interests of people, and not be rude to them, ”the head of the region said earlier.
