The United States imposed sanctions against Russian banks, Arctic LNG-2 and Baumanki

The United States has expanded its sanctions list on Russia to include more than 40 individuals, it says on the website of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury.
There were 37 people on the SDN list, among them citizens of Russia, Switzerland, Cyprus, Sweden, Ireland, Latvia, Turkey, etc.
About 200 companies were subject to American restrictions. The list was supplemented by the Russian “Post Bank”, the bank “Russian standard“, All-Russian Regional Development Bank, Absolut Bank and other credit organizations, including foreign ones.
The United States also added Novatek’s natural gas production project and the production of liquefied natural gas Arctic LNG-2 to the sanctions register. The restrictions affected the investment company AFK-Sistema. The sanctions affected organizations from China, Switzerland, Luxembourg, UAE, Turkey, etc.
The Ministry of Finance regularly updates its SDN (Specially Designated Nationals & Blocked Persons List) list. On October 18, OFAC re-imposed sanctions against Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec) in connection with the restriction program against Iran. The state-owned company was previously included in three different sanctions lists.
In addition to the Treasury Department, the US Department of Commerce is also adding to its sanctions lists. On October 6, the department imposed restrictions on about 50 companies from different countries for allegedly supporting the Russian military industry. Among those subject to restrictions were one company each from the UK, Germany, Estonia, Finland and the UAE, as well as three companies from India and two from Turkey.
