The United States and Albania have requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday, September 7th. This was reported in the UN Security Council itself.
The meeting has already been included in the schedule of the Security Council. It will be dedicated to Ukraine and the ongoing Russian special military operation on its territory. It is not yet known exactly what questions the representatives of the United States and Albania are planning to raise at the UN Security Council meeting.
It is possible that the meeting will discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP in Energodar. This strategic facility is regularly attacked by the Ukrainian side, although the West blames Russia for the shelling of the nuclear power plant.
