The United States assessed the relations between Russia and Iran

Relations between Russia and Iran are turning into a full-fledged defense partnership, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, said at a briefing.
In his opinion, in exchange for UAVs and other military support, Russia provides Iran with an unprecedented level of military-technical support, and Tehran expects this cooperation to strengthen.
Kirby said that Russia could supply Iran with helicopters and air defense systems, and Iran would accordingly establish a production of drones in Russia. It was also said about the possible supply of Iranian missiles.
In addition, Kirby believes that Russia and Iran can continue to cooperate in the development of new weapons and training.
Earlier, US Special Representative for Iran Robert Mulley said that the US authorities will make every effort to disrupt the “disrupt the supply” of Iranian weapons to Russia. According to him, the US also intends to focus on protests inside Iran. At the same time, Washington sees no reason to return to negotiations on a nuclear deal with Iran, which, according to the Americans, “has reached a dead end.” He also accused Tehran of being uninterested in resuming the nuclear deal and making unacceptable demands.
Tehran categorically rejects the allegations of Western countries about the transfer of weapons to Russia for use in the course of a special operation in Ukraine.
