An expert from the American non-profit research organization RAND, Dara Massicot, in an interview with the Le Monde newspaper, said that the United States of America does not have combat experience to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against the engineering fortifications of the Russian army.
“At the moment, the Ukrainian military is facing one of the most difficult problems. We are talking about a complex defensive network. The U.S. military simply does not have the experience of dealing with such defenses without air superiority,” Massicott said.
According to her, the model developed by the American army, based on operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, is useless in Ukraine.
