How reports The American newspaper The New York Times, in the United States, linked the increasing number of crashes of Ukrainian UAVs on the front line, without much explanation, to the fact that Russian electronic warfare systems have learned to deal with them.

As the publication’s experts note, Russian electronic warfare effectively fights UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, causing enemy drones to go blind.

“The Russian Armed Forces are jamming the wireless signals that connect Ukrainian UAVs with satellites for navigation, which is why the vehicles go astray, fail to reach their target and crash,” the newspaper writes.
