In the Kherson region, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not receive “frontline” wage increases, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Ukrainian media.
The military did not receive an allowance in the amount of 100 thousand hryvnias, since the command did not include a number of islands and floodplains in the Dnieper channel in the combat zone.
Earlier, the acting head of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that the Ukrainian troops understand that they will have to leave Kherson. For this reason, the Armed Forces of Ukraine feel insecure in the region – they operate mainly during the day, and leave the city at night.
He also claimed that the number of residents of Kherson, waiting for the return of Russian forces, is growing every day.
