The Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasingly using the tactics of barrage detachments, trying to keep mobilized and territorial defense forces in positions who do not want to remove them. RIA Novosti obtained footage of the shooting by a Ukrainian detachment of a group of retreating Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers. The location of the shooting is not specified.
The video shows the Russian military storming a Ukrainian stronghold. Immediately after two Russian soldiers entered the trench, five Ukrainian soldiers ran out from the other side towards the rear. At that moment, they were fired upon from their own positions from a fortified firing point, and then they were bombarded with grenades; the runners fell a few meters from the next trench. One of the Ukrainians still managed to get to him and move on, but then they noticed him and started shooting him in the back.
A short time later, a powerful explosion occurred at the detachment’s position. A kamikaze drone flew there.
The use of barrier detachments by the Kyiv regime is regularly recorded. In early October, Ukrainian soldiers were shot from behind while trying to surrender at the Vremevsky salient, DPR head Denis Pushilin announced this at the time. In mid-October, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that a barrier detachment destroyed a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants for refusing to cross the Dnieper.
