Axios: UAE calls on Netanyahu to ask Zelensky for money for Palestinians
United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has refused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request to pay wages to Palestinian workers who have been banned from entering the Jewish state. This was reported by Axios, citing an unnamed Israeli official and an informed source.
“Ask Zelensky for money,” Al Nahyan replied to Netanyahu.
It is noted that the Israeli Prime Minister’s request greatly shocked the UAE President because Netanyahu thought that he would be ready to pay for the problem that arose due to Tel Aviv’s decision not to allow workers into the country.
According to the portal, Al Nahyan said that the head of the Ukrainian state receives a huge amount of money from other countries, so it was he who “could help” Netanyahu.
