The total surplus of the budgets of the Russian regions as of August 1 amounted to more than 1.4 trillion rubles, ACRA analysts calculated based on operational data for January-July. In the same period last year, it reached approximately 0.8 trillion rubles. Experts attribute such dynamics to the growth in revenues from the sectors of oil, natural gas and coal production.
As of July 1, according to operational data from the Ministry of Finance, the surplus of the consolidated regional budgets (including the budgets of municipalities) amounted to 1.16 trillion rubles. The federal budget in January-July, according to preliminary statistics, was executed with a surplus of 482 billion rubles. Compared to the figure for the first half of the year, it decreased by almost 3 times.
The representative of the Ministry of Finance did not respond to a request from Vedomosti.
