Earlier, on February 15, there was rejected Mr. Nadezhdin’s first claim regarding the procedure for collecting signatures.
In the second rejected claim, Mr. Nadezhdin challenged the form of the CEC statement, according to which signature sheets are checked. During the inspection, handwriting experts invalidated more than 4.5 thousand signatures.
“Now we will get the motivation, we will litigate all the claims and then go to appeal and to the Constitutional Court,” Mr. Nadezhdin told the agency “RIA News”.
Boris Nadezhdin in Telegram channel said that he plans to appeal both decisions. In addition, he intends to file another lawsuit in the Supreme Court – to challenge the Central Election Commission’s refusal to register for the presidential election.
The Central Electoral Commission refused to register Boris Nadezhdin on February 8. Of the nearly 105 thousand signatures submitted, the commission invalidated more than 9 thousand, out of an acceptable 5.25 thousand. Mr. Nadezhdin called the decision to refuse registration as a candidate expected.
