The Supreme Court of Russia satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice on the liquidation of the political party “PARNAS”, reports the correspondent of “Vedomosti”.
Earlier, the party said that the Ministry of Justice justified its decision to liquidate the party with an insufficient number of regional branches, noting that in a short time the ministry itself canceled the registration of seven branches. PARANAS called this decision politicized, specifying that many “party comrades-in-arms have already been subjected to repression.”
At the same time, the party stated that it would continue to “participate under its banner and with its program.”
Mikhail Kasyanov has been the Chairman of the People’s Freedom Party (PARNAS) since 2010. Earlier media wrotethat he left Russia.
