On February 23, the official opening of the super final of the next personnel competition “Leaders of Russia” took place at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko said that this year for the first time 302 people are participating in the super final, and not 300 as before: this is due to the fact that some participants scored equal points.
Mr. Kiriyenko also read a greeting to the participants of the super final from President Vladimir Putin. “Over the past years, this meaningful, time-demanded project has given tens of thousands of young people from many regions of Russia an excellent opportunity to fully demonstrate their talent, creative, organizational potential, and achieve new heights in their chosen endeavor,” the greeting said.
On his own behalf, Mr. Kiriyenko added that “in addition to the hot war,” an economic war and a war for the future generation are being waged in the zone of a special military operation against Russia. He also wished the competition participants not to treat each other only as competitors: “If each of you leaves here with the feeling that he has added 301 more friends and reliable partners, each of you will become stronger.”
In addition, the first deputy head of the presidential administration said that he did not agree with the participant in the competition, who in the video shown before the start said: “We came to govern.” “For those who choose public service or municipal service, the most important thing is to always remember that public service comes from the word “service.” And the people who come to it do not come to govern, they come to serve,” emphasized Sergei Kiriyenko.
All participants in the super final will receive 1 million rubles. for further training and assistance from a mentor from among well-known Russian managers. And for the winners (about 100 people) one year of personnel support from competition experts and personnel specialists is also provided.
