The Russian Ministry of Defense showed a video of the takeoff of Su-35S fighter jets that accompanied Air Force One during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.
It is noted that the video posted by the ministry demonstrated the preparation of the presidential Il-96 and combat aircraft for takeoff. In the video you can see the takeoff of a flight of three Su-35S in the closest possible group.
It is noted that the distance between the fighters during the runway run and takeoff from the ground is a few meters, resulting in the impression that the combat aircraft are at arm’s length from each other.
