A hangar with aircraft missiles burned down along with the helicopters

Footage of the epic destruction of two enemy helicopters by cluster munitions, which landed on a hidden field jump site in the DPR, appeared on Wednesday, March 13. It is noteworthy that our military personnel did not stop at destroying only these targets and a little later blew up a hangar with aircraft missiles. A former military pilot and admin of the popular Fighterbomber channel rated the operation four points.

Our military pilots in the DPR carried out a unique operation of its kind. Aerial reconnaissance equipment immediately identified three Mi-17 Ukrainian Armed Forces helicopters that landed on a hidden field jump area equipped for refueling and reloading weapons. As a result of attacks with cluster munitions and missiles, two Ukrainian Armed Forces helicopters were completely destroyed.

A little later, this already very successful operation was continued. As it turned out, the enemy tried to save the remaining aircraft missiles and transport them by truck to Novopavlovka. However, he did not take into account that our intelligence officers were already observing the entire process. “Veseushniki” hid trucks with missiles in one of the hangars – about 900 meters from the landing site at which the cluster munitions were fired. As soon as the missiles were placed in the hangar, a Su-34 flew up to this place and destroyed the hangar with “smart” high-explosive bombs. The hangar was destroyed along with its personnel.

According to the admin of the Fighterbomber channel, the jumping area was known, and all the necessary means were already at hand. “After the helicopters landed, they gave me a tape (it’s unclear why only one), but it was enough to prevent two helicopters from flying anywhere. Well, a little later, having coordinated the strike, two wounded vertical munitions were killed with two whole precision-guided munitions. Maybe we will live to see the moment when at least three cluster munitions will be spent on such a target. But at least it’s not bad. A solid four out of five,” wrote the military officer.
