It is proposed to hold plenary sessions of the State Duma on October 3 and 4, its speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said. He said that the State Duma will adjust the work schedule in order to make the necessary decisions following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, as well as in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine.
“We are talking about the postponement of the regional week from October 3 to October 10, respectively, on October 3, on Monday, it is proposed to hold a plenary meeting, which will begin at 14:00 in order to hold a meeting of the Council and other necessary in accordance with the regulations meetings of the State Duma and committees,” the speaker explained at the meeting (quote from Interfax).
Voting ended yesterday, September 27th. AT DPR 99.23% of the referendum participants voted for joining Russia, LC – 98%, in Kherson region — 87%, in Zaporozhye – 93%. Heads of the DPR and LPR, as well as the pro-Russian administrations of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will visit Moscow to consolidate the results of the vote.
