The State Duma reacted to Pugacheva’s statement: “Wishes Russia’s defeat”

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy commented Statement by People’s Artist of the USSR Alla Pugachevain which she expressed solidarity with her husband Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) and demanded that the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation include her in the list of foreign agents.
The deputy expressed regret that Alla Pugacheva “has lost touch with reality” and expressed solidarity with those who “today want Russia’s defeat.”
Pyotr Tolstoy believes that now Pugacheva’s place is in the “museum of the times of the USSR.” He also noted that the artist is the saddest “stop feeling your people.” The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma also noted that Pugacheva, unlike Galkin, would not have another country.
“And she won’t become a foreign agent, and she won’t find support among decent Russian people. We’ll win without her songs,” he added in a comment to the Rise Telegram channel.
