State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova offered to educate the children of foreigners participating in a special military operation for free, RIA Novosti reports.
The corresponding document was sent to Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Andrey Turchak. This step is called “promising”; it is proposed to extend the measure to the children of foreigners who have entered into contracts for the purpose of participating in the SVO.
Lantratova indicated that there are already some difficulties. Thus, now children of military personnel who died in the line of military service, children of military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and the National Guard, subject to their participation in a special military operation, as well as children of mobilized and volunteers have the opportunity to enroll in colleges as a priority.
In this case, the benefits come into force if the child passes the entrance examination. Now Lantratova has proposed extending such measures to the children of foreigners involved in a special military operation.
