A special commission will be set up in the State Duma of the Russian Federation to oversee the preparation and operation of a unified register of persons liable for military service (ERV). About it URA.RU said Dmitry Gusev, First Deputy Head of the Lower Board Committee for Control, a member of the working group under the RF Ministry of Defense, a member of the A Just Russia-For Truth faction.
He noted that his party initiated the creation of such a commission. According to him, its purpose will be to monitor the occurrence of any failures in the system, and if defects are found, they will be corrected immediately.
“I think that such a group will be created in the near future, which will monitor the preparation for the entry into force of this law and its implementation,” the parliamentarian said.
Gusev noted that the ERV was created for citizens who are subject to conscription for military service. The deputy stressed that this system will start working not earlier than autumn.
In turn, earlier the head of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov, commenting on the new bill, stressed that it would apply to all those liable for military service.
