A working group has been set up in the State Duma to develop proposals to ban foreign agents and cultural figures who have left Russia and criticize the country from receiving income from creative activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. The working group will be headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya. Tolstoy also joined the group. The names of other participants are not specified.

“The task is to find a fair solution in this extremely delicate and delicate area, although the State Duma receives appeals with quite radical proposals from our voters,” wrote MP in his Telegram channel.

Tolstoy stressed that “it is not worth making money in a country you hate.” He also spoke about “proven facts of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine” with funds earned in Russia.
