State Duma deputies at the plenary session on July 11 accepted government report on the execution of the federal budget for 2022 with a deficit of almost 3.3 trillion rubles. (2.1% of GDP).
The government report, adopted by the deputies, states that budget revenues amounted to 27.8 trillion rubles, expenses – 31.1 trillion rubles. In 2022, the level of execution of budget expenditures amounted to 97.5%, which is similar to the result of 2021 with a significant increase in their volume, according to the conclusion of the Committee on Budget and Taxes.
The share of oil and gas revenues amounted to 41.6%, which is 5.8 p.p. more than in 2021 (35.8%). The share of non-oil and gas companies decreased by 5.8 p.p., to 58.4%, compared with the result of 2021 (64.2%). Presenting the report in January, the government noted that oil and gas revenues increased due to strong growth in gas and oil prices.
